Stripped, demystified, unglorious moon
thou shan't make a fool of me
for thou may be wicked and cast your spell
but sneakily i shall run from thee.
The wise men know, they told me
of Her we must beware
She has made us ants
for destruction as we prepare.
and i beg Her so she may
spare my friend from evil scheme
i fail to break Her vanity
now i plead to break his dream
"The ceasing chirps of mockingbird blue
must be alarming to hear i'm sure
so although for want of sympathy true
you may sway to the moon's allure
but warn you i will my friend
to look beyond Her rosy cheeks
pouts and winks may win your heart
but Hers the devil bespeaks
what is love but a drug for the weak
and your love most despicable and wrong
you know not that She set the seas ablaze
to Her its but a funny song
so find yourself at the end of the world
find yourself and come to me
then we like kings will stand ground
and fight war for life to lead
run, run let us, with the wild horses
oh the madness in this wilderness now
the arc we build and fruit we save
oh how sweet be the sweat of brow
live we will for the sake of life
as kings in all our glory
beyond this bridge we start again
that winds may tell our story"
